The love and care that our mothers provide us with on a daily basis is unmatched. This sentiment is also true for animals as they display affection towards their young in various ways, akin to humans. Recently, a tiny kitten was observed displaying signs of pain and discomfort, prompting the need for assistance. The rescuers encountered difficulty in capturing the feline due to its intelligence and fear, but after a week-long pursuit, they were able to secure it.
The feline had a broken jaw that posed a challenge to her food and water intake. The rescue team immediately sprang into action upon receiving her because they couldn’t afford to lose this lovely creature; she deserved medical attention.
Rescuers brought Sweetie to the Save Cats & Obliterate OverPopulation, Inc. for shelter and care.
During a routine checkup, the veterinarians at SCOOP, Inc. discovered that Sweetie the kitten had a severely dislocated jaw. The CEO of the organization, Barb Wehmann, immediately instructed the veterinarian to take swift action and perform a reconstructive surgery on the poor feline.
After evaluating Sweetie’s situation, they concluded that the injuries on the kitten’s face were caused by a hard blow. They suspect that someone physically punched and kicked the helpless kitten.
Sweetie’s recovery started showing results after a few days when she started to eat and regain her appetite. It was surprising for everyone in the team when Sweetie gave birth to a beautiful kitten weighing 57 grams only a few days after undergoing surgery.
Although Sweetie didn’t show any physical indications of being pregnant, she had a hunch and put up a fight against the brutal assault inflicted on her. However, since she didn’t produce any milk, the team at SCOOP, Inc. had to step in to provide care and feed the newborn kitten. They were amazed by the fact that despite her injuries, Sweetie delivered a healthy kitten.
Jaax, the adorable kitten, has thrived under the care of his doting mother and the dedicated SCOOP, Inc. crew, resulting in his excellent health as a feline.
Sweetie has recently undergone a successful second surgery and is doing exceptionally well in both her motherhood duties and her rehabilitation process. Her unwavering love for her child is the driving force behind her remarkable recovery.
