Meet Dizzy, a feline who has Cerebellar hypoplasia and loves to listen to a specific meowlody. Whenever his owner, who is known as Rhianuh on TikTok, plays it on her laptop, he quickly abandons whatever he is doing and heads over to her. Dizzy then starts kneading his paws, and sometimes even meows along with the lyrics, which are all meows too.
Dizzy’s enthusiasm is sparked by the Bongo Cat rendition of “Rude” by MAGIC!.
Dizzy’s response to the all-meow song is simply adorable. As soon as he hears the tune, he runs over and starts kneading his paws like he’s making biscuits. This reaction shows just how much he enjoys the song and it’s truly heartwarming to see. He seems to be completely captured by the melody and can’t help but join in by making his own little contribution. It’s definitely safe to say that Dizzy is a big fan of this feline-inspired tune.
Rhianuh shared an update, saying that her cat usually sings along to songs, but on one particular day, he seemed more interested in eating biscuits. She posted a TikTok video of him showcasing his singing voice. There’s also another instance where the feline gives his seal of approval by pawing at the song while it plays, indicating his fondness for it.
Is there a particular tune that your feline friend can’t resist? As we’ve previously mentioned, cats have a natural inclination towards music. From their impressive dance moves to their explosive presence in cat rock bands, they’ve been captivating the hearts of many. And if you’re looking for a way to relieve stress for both you and your furry companion, music therapy could be the solution. As seen with Cole and Marmalade, music for cats can prove to be quite soothing as well.
Meet Dizzy, an adorable kitty who lives with his owner Beau. Dizzy suffers from a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which affects his coordination, making him a little “wobbly.” Although he may appear somewhat unsteady, he’s not in any pain and can still lead a happy life with some adjustments. We’ve shared how cats with CH can live fulfilling lives before.
It’s clear that the cat living in this household is well-loved. Although cats with CH may struggle with mobility, it seems like Dizzy’s condition is mild. Often, cats with CH learn to improve their balance within the first year, but some may remain wobbly for their entire lives.
To keep cats with CH comfortable, they may require certain accommodations such as a custom feeding station, carpets and ramps to aid in movement, limited stair access to prevent falls, assistance with grooming, and a modified litter box for easy access. Dizzy’s unique way of getting around can be seen in the TikTok video below, where he sometimes throws his back legs up as if performing a handstand. While each cat is different, Dizzy’s adorable quirks make him even more special.
