Jen, a foster mom who has looked after more than 200 cats, has observed an adorable behavior in Igraine, a brave kitten who is blind. According to her, whenever Igraine needs to come down from furniture, she does a cute “backwards scooch” that Jen finds irresistible. Although Igraine is growing and learning to jump off things or descend face-first, she still relies on her trusty backwards scooch when unsure. Jen also mentioned that Igraine’s unique personality keeps her foster parents entertained and sometimes makes them wonder whether she might be a woodland sprite disguised as a feline.
Meet Iggy, the adorable feline who is still searching for her forever home in the DC area. Along with her siblings, Vivianne and Emrys, Iggy arrived covered in fleas and with various health issues that required many vet visits. However, with a lot of love and care, they were able to pull through and recover. Initially, Iggy had a head tilt and a brown “fever coat,” but her fur has since grown back as a healthy jet black color. She’s now an eight-pound cat with a lion-sized personality, known for being confident and hilarious. Although her siblings have found their forever homes, Iggy is still looking for hers. She’s an independent yet endearing little girl who likes to do her own thing, making her a special addition to any family.
