When love for a dog speaks louder, even size doesn’t matter. Little Beatriz understands this well, a little girl who won over the internet by coming to her dog’s defense with all her courage and a cherry slipper in hand.
The video, posted on social media, shows the moment the girl’s aunt tries to explain herself after being scolded.
“You can’t hit the dog!” Beatriz snaps, holding her slipper tightly as she looks at the adult with an indignant look.
The aunt tries to justify herself: “But I didn’t hit the dog, I threw him food.” Only then does the little animal advocate relax her arm and lower her slipper, visibly relieved.

Even before she turned one, Beatriz was already in love with the animals on the family’s rural property, including bantam hens, a rabbit named Princesinha, Nina the sheep, and even a mare.
